Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Diamond Driller to join our dynamic team. As a key player in the diamond drilling industries, the Diamond Driller will operate specialized equipment to drill precise holes into hard rock formations, primarily for mineral exploration, and other subsurface projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require technical expertise, safety diligence, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a passion for delivering quality results in demanding environments. Responsibilities Operate diamond drilling rigs and associated heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness to achieve project goals efficiently. Set up drilling sites, including assembling equipment, preparing the work area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed according to OSHA and MSHA standards. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on drilling equipment such as excavators, and other construction tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with project teams to plan drilling operations, including determining depths, angles, and locations for pipeline or mineral extraction projects. Follow strict safety procedures related to horizontal drilling, core pipe installation. Maintain detailed records of drilling activities, equipment usage, and site conditions for project documentation and reporting purposes. Adhere to all construction site regulations and ensure compliance with environmental standards during operations. Will be working a 28-30 days on with 7 days off. 12 hour shifts Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, forklifts, water trucks, and tanker trucks in construction settings. Strong mechanical knowledge of drilling machinery and related tools used in horizontal drilling and pipeline installation. Familiarity with OSHA and MSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety. Ability to supervise and direct employees. Knowledge of drilling industry operations, including safety protocols around hazardous materials and infrastructure. Pay:
$40.00 - $44.00 per hour
