You must be flexible (schedule). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel maintenance, repair, and the maintenance of industrial equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues while ensuring that all vehicles and equipment operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles and industrial equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake and safety inspections. Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs. Inspect vehicles for safety compliance and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades. Keep work area organized, clean, and safe at all times. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to mechanics and repair. Qualifications Proven experience as a Mechanic with a focus on automotive or diesel engine repair. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, power tools, and industrial equipment maintenance. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with service technician responsibilities is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
