Direct Support Professional (DSP) Job Posting Serving Multiple Counties We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). DSPs provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community-based settings while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Position Overview The DSP will assist individuals with daily living activities, community integration, personal care, transportation, and goal development. Team members must be flexible, professional, and committed to providing quality care and support. Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks Support individuals in community participation and recreational activities Administer medication as trained and authorized Maintain accurate documentation and reports Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served Follow individualized service plans and company policies Communicate effectively with families, guardians, and team members Be willing to assist with staffing needs across multiple counties Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Current car insurance is required Ability to pass background checks and required training Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, patient, and professional attitude Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available Flexible scheduling may include evenings, weekends, and holidays Work Locations Positions available throughout: Knox County Licking County Franklin County Fairfield County Surrounding areas Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications $16 per hour Heath, Ohio as only 5 hours per week, all other counties $15 per hour Apply Today Join a team dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of others while building a rewarding career in the developmental disabilities field.
