Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role dedicated to supporting the academic and emotional success of students across K-12 settings. As a full-time, itinerant school psychologist, you'll bring expertise and empathy to a diverse caseload, conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and partnering with a collaborative team of educators and specialists. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make meaningful contributions to student growth in a dynamic educational environment. Candidates must hold a current Ohio School Psychologist certification. Your ability to travel across various school sites and adapt to different student needs will be essential, as is your commitment to thorough, compassionate assessments and clear communication with staff and families.
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist certification Experience conducting comprehensive student evaluations Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams Prior involvement in IEP meetings preferred Flexible, capable of working with a range of K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and guide intervention Attend IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to inform student plans Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to implement best practices Maintain confidential and organized records as required by district and state guidelines Travel between schools within the district as needed (itinerant role) For those selected, compensation is offered within the range of $45 to $53 per hour. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for robust healthcare offerings, as well as housing and meals/incidentals support, with further benefit details provided following application.
