Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding career as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students through a dynamic full-time (or part-time) contract opportunity. In this itinerant role, you'll travel between schools near Heath, OH, fostering positive educational experiences and promoting student well-being. Utilize your expertise to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and work closely with educators, families, and students to develop effective support plans. Your impact will extend across diverse student populations as you collaborate on meaningful interventions that address academic and behavioral needs.
Required Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certification Experience with school-based psychological assessments and interventions Ability to serve a K-12 caseload and adapt to varying student needs Strong skills in conducting evaluations and interpreting data Confidence attending and contributing to IEP meetings Effective communication skills for teamwork with staff, parents, and students Willingness to travel between sites in an itinerant capacityRole Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive student evaluations using up-to-date assessment tools Develop individualized recommendations to support student learning and growth Contribute thoughtfully at IEP meetings, sharing insights and advocating for students Foster collaborative relationships with teachers, administrators, and families Maintain detailed records and adhere to professional best practices Compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $53/hr.
