Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, contributing to the overall guest experience in our restaurant or catering services. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using appropriate methods. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooking. Support the kitchen staff by bussing tables and clearing away used dishes during peak service times. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Participate in regular cleaning tasks to maintain overall kitchen hygiene. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed within the kitchen team.
