Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 200-bed community hospital located about 70 miles south of Boston is seeking a Night Shift Pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations on Cape Cod. This contract opportunity offers a structured 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing an excellent work-life balance for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency to ensure patient safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and dosing adjustments Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide expert pharmacy consultation Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license required Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred to navigate clinical settings effectively Strong communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Ability to manage workload independently during overnight shifts Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly desirable
