Duties Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, or portioning items under supervision. Support food service operations by bussing tables and clearing plates efficiently to ensure a smooth flow during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing work surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Help with catering and banquet setups by organizing serving stations and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety and hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and maintain a positive work environment. Skills Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety regulations. Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks with attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings. Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
