Position:
District Technology Support
Terms of Employment:
52 Week 27.5 hours per week
Position Summary:
This position will work closely with other members of the Technology Department in supporting and implementing technology for students and staff throughout the Thornapple Kellogg School District. In addition to technology support duties, the focus of this position is maintaining our Chromebook and iPad fleet.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma. Possesses good troubleshooting skills. Possesses excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to regularly lift 50lbs. Willingness to learn new technologies and processes in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair Chromebooks, iPads, Windows, and other devices, including actively working to restore out-of-service devices back to fully functioning condition. Maintain an inventory of replacement parts needed for device repairs. Assist with maintaining an up-to-date inventory for district technology. Provide technology helpdesk support to staff and students. Assist in setting up technology for events. Set up and install new computer-related hardware and software as needed. Provide support for digital curriculum and assessment programs. Provide support for user account management. Assist in training for building staff in software use, troubleshooting, maintaining and operating computers, peripherals, phones and voicemail. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Other duties as assigned by technology leadership.
