Compensation is competitive and tailored to your experience — and we're always open to the conversation. Commission or hourly is negotiable. Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus starting at $500 and over $1000 for senior-level groomers. Sharpening services are covered by us! Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand grooming preferences and ensure expectations are met Perform safe, high-quality grooming services for dogs of various breeds and sizes Use our user-friendly software to manage appointments and client records Manage your own grooming appointments, including scheduling, confirmations, and follow-up communication Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with clients regarding services, expectations, and policies Ensure clients understand vaccination requirements and verify that proper vaccination records are on file for all dogs entering the grooming salon Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area in accordance with safety standards Communicate effectively with team members across all service departments (daycare, boarding, and retail) to ensure seamless care and a positive experience for every pet Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset by supporting colleagues, sharing information, and contributing to a collaborative workplace Qualifications Minimum of six months of professional dog grooming experience Ability to confidently groom dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
