Looking for two Driver's Helpers to work seasonally from about Memorial Day to Labor Day. Responsibilities Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading packages from box trucks using manual handling techniques such as heavy lifting and moving items safely. Support route driving by helping to load delivery routes efficiently and ensuring all packages are accounted for. Help load and unload goods at warehouses or customer locations, utilizing equipment like pallet jacks or hand trucks when necessary. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction. Aid in maintaining accurate delivery documentation, including logs of shipments loaded and delivered. Support the driver in navigating routes effectively, following safety protocols and traffic laws at all times. Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, preparing packages for delivery, and maintaining a clean work environment. Qualifications Prior experience in distribution is preferred; familiarity with box trucks is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks related to moving goods safely. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as hand trucks or pallet jacks is preferred.
