Administrative Assistant 3 The Special Commitment Center (SCC) has an opportunity for you to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 3. This position supports the Chief of Clinical Services. The Special Commitment Center is committed to providing evidence-based treatment to reduce recidivism and increase public safety. We are looking for teammates who share our vision while promoting engagement and safety, leading to better outcomes for our agency, our clients, and our community. SCC employees also receive an additional $10 per day premium pay in addition to advertised salary and a free ORCA card for transportation use. Ferry transportation is provided to McNeil Island employees. Opportunities performed on-site at this work location at least three days a week may be eligible for an additional 5% premium pay in addition to the advertised salary. Some of what you will do: Manage calendars and maintain task lists to support daily operational needs. Prepare documentation in MS Word, including letters, memoranda, and the creation or revision of forms. Maintain spreadsheets in MS Excel to track, update, and organize various data sets. Process incoming mail by screening, sorting, and routing items appropriately. Optimize office space by reorganizing work areas and adjusting workflows for efficient use of space, equipment, and personnel. Prepare reports by compiling, coordinating, and organizing forms such as purchase requests, warehouse requests, IT work orders, and maintenance work orders using systems like TRACKS, TEMS, and AMMS. Coordinate departments by communicating with IT, Policy, HR, Consolidated Business, MOD, and other teams to support Clinical Services operations. Support hiring processes by coordinating recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, processing hiring documentation, and completing FARM actions. Track performance requirements by providing administrative support for annual reviews, required documentation, and required trainings. Manage meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, taking notes, and transcribing and distributing meeting minutes. Who should apply? High school graduation or GED AND Three years of clerical, office or administrative experience. OR An associate's degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field may substitute for experience. AND One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 2 or two years as an Administrative Assistant 1. OR Equivalent education/experience. Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong organization and administrative skills. Ability to prioritize work, find information quickly, complete work, and return to critical tasks in the midst of multiple interruptions. Ability to independently manage time and tasks. Strong sense of customer service and team orientation. Advanced experience using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Teams to complete assigned tasks.
