: Job Summary

Record Center Specialists are responsible for the physical handling, moving, and processing of storage boxes, bins, and totes. This role requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending. The weight of the boxes ranges from 24 lbs to over 100 lbs, and they are moved manually and with hand carts.

Responsibilities

Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.

Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

Load and operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.

Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders.

Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.

Operate handheld scanners.

Climb and balance on ladders.

Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.

Load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.

Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.

Ability to work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation.

Protective footwear required, meeting

ASTM F2413-11

standards with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best".

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

Position requires the worker to be a US Person to meet ITAR regulations.

Potential for the position to be Temp to Perm.
