Job Description

Purpose/Objective of the
Role:
The herbarium intern will assist curators in upgrading OWUs research collections, mounting and repairing specimens, and packing and sending specimens to other museums.

Qualifications:
Previous experience is not required, but the work requires attention to detail and care in handling fragile and sometimes irreplaceable research specimens.

Research collections of plants are shared among botanists around the world as a way to explore and document biological diversity.
