Job Description
Art Instructor Ashcan Studio of Art (ashcanart.com) is a premier art learning center, established in 2006 in New York City. We offer top-quality art education to a diverse group of students, from pre-K to high school and beyond, including those aspiring to continue their education in art at the college level. Our faculty is dedicated to nurturing intellectual curiosity, encouraging creative exploration, and fostering both intellectual and aesthetic excellence in our students. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Art Instructor for our Syosset campus
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or a related discipline Strong proficiency in hand drawing and painting techniques In-depth knowledge of art history Basic proficiency in computer programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Must be responsible, punctual, and collaborative Must have a love for teaching and working with children A training period of 1-2 weeks will be conducted before the start date
