John & Paul School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our faculty. We are looking for an educator who fosters a love of language and culture while creating a positive, engaging classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of our students. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Spanish instruction for middle school students (Grades 5-8) aligned with curriculum standards. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and language acquisition. Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration. Integrate cultural experiences and authentic language-learning activities into daily instruction. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and values of Sts. John & Paul School. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (master's degree preferred). New York State teaching certification (or eligibility) preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written Spanish. Experience teaching middle school students is preferred. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills, with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. Sts.
