317-Dept of Global Interdisciplinary Studies Position Summary Villanova University invites applications for an adjunct teaching position in Arabic Language for undergraduate courses only. The specific courses involved are the drill components of Arabic Language instruction. The applicant must be committed to excellence in Arabic Language instruction. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties and Responsibilities Teaching and related duties will vary with the specific course(s) being taught. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Arabic Language or a closely related discipline is required and/or experience suitable for course instruction. Preferred Qualifications Previous teaching experience preferred. Special Message to Applicants The Department of Global Interdisciplinary Studies will accept applications throughout the year. Salary Posting Information This adjunct position falls within the salary range of $1,160.00 - $2,230.00 per credit/contact hour. The final compensation will be determined with consideration of several factors including the selected candidate's educational qualifications, course type (drill, lab, lecture), course level (undergraduate or graduate), and market benchmarks.
