Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an ESL Teacher to provide English language instruction to deaf and hard-of-hearing students. The teacher will develop individualized lessons, adapt materials, and use ASL and other communication strategies to support student learning.
Schedule:
1 hour/day, 5 days/week Currently serving 2 students; enrollment may vary
Responsibilities:
Develop ILPs and individualized lesson plans. Provide ESL instruction tailored to student needs. Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies. Communicate effectively using American Sign Language (ASL) . Monitor student progress and collaborate with school staff.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher. Valid Tennessee teaching license with ESL endorsement . ASL proficiency and ability to sign. Experience with deaf/hard-of-hearing students preferred. Knowledge of ESL instruction and individualized teaching strategies.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Hybrid remote in Knoxville, TN 37920
