Job Description

The School of Business and Computer Science at Caldwell University invites applications for its Business Adjunct Faculty Pool. The purpose of the pool is to identify qualified instructors whom the School can contact as teaching needs arise for on-campus undergraduate business courses at Caldwell University in Caldwell, New Jersey. We are seeking qualified, motivated educators with academic and/or professional expertise in areas including: Business Business Communications Artificial Intelligence in Business Sport Management Finance Accounting Healthcare Administration Human Resource Management International Business Leadership and Management Marketing and Digital Marketing Business Spreadsheets We are particularly interested in faculty who bring relevant professional experience into the classroom and are committed to student success and excellence in teaching. Applicants should review the Caldwell University undergraduate catalog and identify the specific business courses they are qualified and interested in teaching. Applicants should also indicate whether they are available to teach during the day, in the evening, or both. Qualifications Master's degree in the relevant discipline required; doctorate preferred Relevant professional experience is strongly valued Prior college-level teaching experience is strongly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Responsibilities Adjunct faculty selected for teaching assignments will be expected to: Teach assigned courses in accordance with School and University guidelines Prepare and deliver engaging instruction, assignments, and assessments Provide students with timely feedback and appropriate availability outside of class Assess student learning and submit grades and required documentation in a timely manner Support the mission and academic standards of Caldwell University Application Process Applicants should submit: Curriculum vitae or resume Cover letter identifying: The specific Caldwell University business courses they are qualified and interested in teaching Relevant academic and professional expertise Availability to teach during the day, in the evening, or both Unofficial transcripts Contact information for professional references Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
