  • $26 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits On-the-job training Flexible schedule Qualifications Experience working with children Gymnastics Working with adult populations Teaching Camp experience Full Job Description We are hiring Women's Artistic Gymnastics Coaches for competitive levels Xcel Bronze, Silver, and Gold (USAG), and noncompetitive PreTeam, with extra hours possible coaching recreational gymnastics classes.
Our recreational program includes classes for toddlers, school age girls and boys, tumbling, camps, and birthday parties. Student ages range from 18 months to teenagers. Join our team as a Gymnastics Coach and inspire young athletes to reach their full potential. We are seeking a passionate individual with experience in gymnastics coaching and a strong desire to educate and motivate students.
  • Coaching Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for students of various skill levels according to USAG compulsory, xcel programs, and our recreational class curriculum.
  • Teach proper techniques, skills, and routines in a safe and engaging manner
  • Provide feedback and encouragement to help students improve their performance
  • Develop lesson plans that align with the head coaches team goals for our team classes, and follow curriculum of our rec program for rec classes
  • Ensure the safety of all participants during training sessions
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly
  • Communicate progress with students, parents, and the Xcel Team Head Coach
  • Additional responsibilities for team coaches are required including seasonal competitions, keeping current USAG membership status and course material
Job Types:

Weekday afternoons
  • Team coaches must have experience coaching competitive artistic gymnastics OR be a former USAG, NGA, UAA or IGC artistic gymnast with recreational gymnastics coaching experience.
  • Must be able to self-report
  • Must have excellent communication skills with children and adults Pay is negotiable and depends on experience.
