Job Summary Job Summary Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience coaching or playing basketball
- Must have knowledge of the game of basketball
- Must be able to teach the basic skills of basketball Job Description
- Examples of duties:
- Conduct practices and instruct players regarding basketball skills and techniques
- Travel to away basketball games
- Supervise basketball team at all related activities
- Communicate with parents regarding expectations
- Communicate regularly with the Athletic Director on all issues related to games, practices, players, and parents.

- "Heat Illness Prevention" Online course available through National Federation of High Schools. (www.nfhslearn.com)
CPR & First Aid:
evidence of current certification. MUST be recognized by the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. (Online Courses unacceptable)
TB Test:
Evidence of current negative test OR Adult TB Risk Assessment Form.
- Current Driver License at time of employment.
