In this paid role, you will lead and inspire young athletes through engaging flag football sessions, fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and confidence. Your energetic leadership will create a fun, safe environment where participants can thrive both on and off the field. Duties Plan and execute dynamic flag football practices and games that emphasize skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship Teach fundamental football techniques alongside sport-specific training instruction to enhance players' abilities Foster a positive environment by managing behavior and encouraging teamwork among participants Communicate effectively with players, parents, and guardians to provide updates on progress and upcoming events Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including operation of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices and first aid procedures Monitor players' physical activity levels, promote health and wellness, and incorporate basic conditioning exercises Collaborate with other coaches or staff to organize tournaments or special events that celebrate team achievements Qualifications Prior experience working with children in sports or educational settings is highly preferred Strong background in sports coaching, including soccer coaching or basketball experience; familiarity with cheerleading or climbing is a plus Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage youth teams effectively Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification; AED operation experience is required Background in martial arts such as karate or judo enhances coaching versatility; experience teaching physical education is advantageous Excellent communication skills to engage with young athletes, parents, and team members confidently Ability to demonstrate behavior management techniques to maintain a positive training environment Previous experience in health club or gym settings involving sports team experience is beneficial Join us as a Flag Football Coach and help shape the next generation of athletes!
