Duties Plan and execute engaging soccer practices tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead team warm-ups, drills, and gameplay sessions with enthusiasm and clear instruction Foster a positive team environment by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect Monitor player safety during activities, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about player progress, upcoming events, and team updates Manage behavior on the field using effective behavior management techniques Maintain organized records of attendance, performance, and any incidents during practices or games Skills Proven experience in soccer coaching or sports-specific training instruction Strong background in team leadership and sports coaching experience with children or youth groups Knowledge of soccer rules, techniques, and strategies suitable for youth development Excellent communication skills to effectively teach skills and engage with young athletes and parents Ability to demonstrate physical activities such as swimming, martial arts (e.g., karate, judo), cheerleading, climbing or basketball is a plus for versatile coaching approaches Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings is highly valued Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), health club or gym experience preferred Familiarity with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct during activities Additional skills such as Lifeguard experience, swimming proficiency, martial arts background (judo, karate), or sports team experience enhance your coaching versatility Join us in creating an energetic environment where young athletes can thrive!
