Job Summary We are seeking an experienced, energetic and dedicated Youth Basketball Coach to inspire young athletes and foster their love for the game. In this role, you will lead basketball practices, and motivate players to develop their skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on youth development through sports, combining coaching expertise with a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a solid background in basketball coaching to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for all participants. Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to organize practices Lead team practices focusing on fundamental skills such as dribbling, shooting, passing, and defense Coach the team during all games, ensuring fair play and adherence to rules Foster a positive team environment by promoting teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding player progress and team updates Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including first aid readiness and emergency procedures Skills Proven experience in sports coaching, especially basketball Strong background working with children and understanding of behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for effective client (parent/guardian) interaction and team leadership Knowledge of first aid procedures including CPR and AED operation; certification preferred but not required Ability to motivate young athletes while maintaining a fun yet disciplined environment Join us to help shape the next generation of athletes!
