Various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan Area http://www.wizkidscamps.com Job Description The Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic professional to coordinate basketball related activities during the summer camp session. The Basketball Head Coach is responsible for teaching fundamental skills as well as more advanced routines. The Basketball Head Coach oversees a team that guides campers through the dayto-day activities during this activity segment. Develop and lead daily activity specific drills and training components Oversees participant development culminating in team competitions Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper-related issues by communicating clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4). Additional duties as contracted. Qualifications Prior coaching experience in basketball at the elementary or high school level. Coaching certification in the sport of basketball or an advanced degree in Sports Administration is highly preferred.
