Position:
Middle School Boys' Head Soccer Coach Start Date:
September 8, 2026 (season ends at the end of October)
Schedule:
Mon-Fri approx. 3-4:30 for practices, 3-5:30 for games Eligible Candidates must hold the following certification: New Jersey teaching certificate or substitute certificate required. CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid certifications preferred or ability to obtain.
Qualifications:
Previous soccer coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred Knowledge of soccer fundamentals, skill development, strategies, and rules of the game Ability to teach techniques while developing student-athletes of varying skill levels Commitment to building a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment Strong leadership, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor for middle school student-athletes Promotes good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, accountability, & academic success Collaborate effectively with the assistant coach, school staff, and families Responsible for supervising student-athletes during practices, games, travel & activities Assist with equipment management, uniform distribution, and other program logistics Ensure compliance with all district policies, athletic department procedures, league regulations, and New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association requirements. Must follow all district and athletic department policies and procedures.
Salary:
