Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gymnastics Coach and inspire athletes of all ages to reach new heights! In this energetic role, you will lead gymnastics classes, develop skill-building programs, and foster a safe, motivating environment for both beginners and advanced gymnasts. Your passion for sports and dedication to coaching will help participants build confidence, strength, and agility while having fun. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives through engaging instruction and expert guidance. Duties Plan and deliver comprehensive gymnastics training sessions tailored to different skill levels and age groups Demonstrate proper techniques for vaulting, tumbling, balance beam, uneven bars, and floor routines Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including proper use of equipment and behavior management Assess individual progress and provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills Maintain a clean, organized training environment and inspect equipment regularly for safety compliance Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding athlete progress and upcoming events Lead warm-up exercises, stretching routines, and cool-down activities to prevent injuries Experience Prior experience working with children in sports or recreational settings is highly preferred Knowledge of gymnastics techniques, including tumbling, balance beam work, vaulting, and floor routines Background in sports coaching or physical education instruction is advantageous Certifications in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), and child safety are required or will be provided upon hiring Experience with martial arts such as karate or judo is beneficial for understanding discipline and movement fundamentals Familiarity with other sports like soccer, basketball, cheerleading, climbing or swimming enhances coaching versatility Strong communication skills for effective client (athlete and parent) interaction and team leadership capabilities This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about sports coaching who thrive in active environments. $12.00 - $22.00 per hour
