We are seeking a motivated Performance Coach / Physical Therapy Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on hybrid role combining traditional physical therapy technician responsibilities with performance coaching in our strength and training space. You will work closely with physical therapists, support patients throughout their rehabilitation, and help coach clients as they progress from recovery into strength and performance training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in physical therapy, athletic training, strength & conditioning, sports medicine, or a related field who wants meaningful hands-on experience in both clinical rehabilitation and performance coaching. Physical Therapy Technician Duties Assist physical therapists with patient flow and exercise instruction Set up and monitor therapeutic exercise programs Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas Support clinic operations and patient experience Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed Performance Coaching Duties Lead and supervise small group training sessions Coach proper strength training mechanics, including squat, hinge, push, pull, and carry movements Assist with program implementation designed by physical therapists Support clients transitioning from rehabilitation to performance training Foster a positive, energetic training environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field preferred Previous coaching, personal training, or gym experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting Dependable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Certifications, Not Required CSCS NASM, ACSM, or similar CPT certification CPR/AED certification Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hours Mentorship and professional development Growth opportunities as our performance program expands Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday, with optional weekends Occasional early mornings or evenings depending on training schedule Why Join Taylor Physical Therapy Health & Wellness Hub?
