Private Swim Instructor

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and water safety to individuals of all ages and skill levels. If you have a passion for swimming and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties:

• Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment
• Teach proper swimming techniques, including basic swim, breathing, and floating
• Provide instruction on water safety and basic rescue techniques
• Assess individual swimmer's abilities and tailor lessons accordingly
• Maintain a clean and organized pool area
• Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons

Skills:

• Experience in swimming, lifeguarding, instruction is a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students
• Ability to manage behavior and maintain discipline in a group setting
• Knowledge of child development principles for effective teaching strategies
