Responsibilities Develop and oversee recreational gymnastics curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate instruction. Lead, motivate, and supervise gymnastics instructors and assistants to deliver high-quality classes that promote safety, skill progression, and enjoyment. Manage class schedules, registration processes, and participant communication to ensure smooth program operations. (must be willing to learn iClass) Implement behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment while maintaining discipline and safety standards. Conduct regular equipment inspections, safety checks, and facility maintenance to uphold health and safety regulations. Coordinate special events such as gymnastics showcases or competitions that highlight participant achievements. Stay current with industry best practices in Gymnastics & Ninja Warrior coaching, child development, and safety procedures including CPR/AED certification requirements. Skills Proven experience working with children in sports or recreational settings; background in teaching physical education or gymnastics preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams of instructors and manage multiple classes simultaneously. Excellent communication skills for effective client engagement, parent interactions, and team coordination. Knowledge of gymnastics training instruction Certifications in first aid, CPR/AED operation, child care, or health club management are highly desirable. Experience with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct during activities. Familiarity with sports team experience or coaching certifications in various disciplines such as swimming or gym training is a plus.
