Job Description

Overview:
General Summary of the Position The Dallas Parochial League Athletic Coordinator will assist the Athletic Director with the day- to-day operation of the league. The Athletic Coordinator supports all administrative and managerial functions for the league office, including but not limited to assisting with meeting/clinic set-up, reservations and conducting as well as scheduling all DPL sporting events and managing those events.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Position Assisting with all DPL events, i.e. clinics, tournaments, post-season play. Responsible for maintaining DPL website with updated information, schedules, standings, etc. Assisting with the resolution of concerns/conflicts. Working with the PC Business Office to set up new vendors and processing payments. Overseeing/managing coaches, officials and scorekeepers during league events. Taking stock of equipment and working with vendors to place orders in a timely manner. Assist with the formulation of the annual budget. Communicate with all visitors' and telephone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Must have a valid driver's license and have own transportation Position requires traveling to various events, meetings and games
Qualifications:
Position Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Basic knowledge of athletics, bracketing, schedules, standings, etc. Must have good verbal and written communication skills Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Suite Must be knowledgeable with website management and construction. Ability to work closely with member schools' Athletic Directors, volunteer coaches and parents.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in an Athletic field.
Special Requirements:
Hours of operation and work schedule may vary from week to week. Some tasks will be on an "as needed basis" depending on the time of year and what sports are in session. Interest and love of all sports is a major aspect for successful job performance. Physical Requirements Specific to the
