Who You Are You're a hands-on coach and leader who takes ownership of the youth athlete experience and programming, from a 6-year-old's first class to a teen's performance training. You can run a great class and also build the system that makes every class great.

Leadership to grow and retain clients for the overall success of the business Organized and proactive with curriculum, scheduling, and athlete tracking. Team-first and confident coaching adult group fitness and personal training as part of our fitness team. What You'll Do Lead Strong's youth and performance programs: youth classes (ages 6-11) and teen performance training (ages 12-18). Own the youth curriculum, including progressions, skill benchmarks, and athlete assessments. Build the pathway that moves athletes from foundational youth classes into performance training as they grow. Train, observe, and develop youth coaches so session quality is consistent across the schedule. Coach adult group fitness classes and personal training clients as scheduled. Communicate with parents about progress and goals, and support trial visits and first-class experiences. Maintain safety standards, including supervision, athlete check-in and check-out, and equipment safety. Track attendance and retention, and partner with the front desk team on athlete follow-up. Lead team training and sport-specific sessions when booked, on-site or occasionally off-site. Support camps, events, and other facility needs as assigned. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of youth coaching experience, including group sessions, required. Nationally accredited certification required (CrossFit Kids, CF-L1/L2, NSCA-CSCS, NASM, ACE, or equivalent). CrossFit Kids and CF-L1 or higher preferred; a speed, agility, or sport-performance background is a required. Experience leading, training, or mentoring other coaches preferred. CPR/AED certified, or able to certify within 30 days. Must pass a background check. Punctual, organized, and a clear, concise communicator. Available weekday afternoons and evenings, plus Saturdays and some mornings. Compensation & Perks $20-$30/hour based on experience and certifications, plus personal training earnings. Full-time, with part-time considered for the right candidate. Unlimited access to Strong fitness facilities and services. Fitness facility access for immediate family members.
Growth path:
