Club Director Schedule Details:
Part-time. Five hours per week on average, with potential for more in the future. Late afternoon and evening on weekdays / morning and afternoon on weekendsLocation:
Mostly at Lakeside Park in The Woodlands, and other parks as needed.Position Summary:
Our club is looking for an experienced Soccer Coach, initially for the 4U-10U ages. You need to have experience playing the sport competitively. Coaching experience preferred. Strong leadership and age-specific communication skills are essential to motivate our players and help them hone their skills. You will also need to possess US Soccer coaching licenses for all grassroots levels at the minimum (or must be willing to take the needed classes to get them). An outgoing personality is a plus. All coaches must pass a background check.Soccer Coach Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and lead practices to help players improve player performance. Develop and evaluate player skillset and performance Strategize on player positions Develop on-field strategies Make calls and substitutions during games Be available for practice sessions on weekdays and games on weekends Be committed to the training and game schedule, reliable Communicate with players, parents, and club staff effectively Recruit players Help coordinate fundraisers Serve the community Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Club Director and Board membersSoccer Coach Requirements and Qualifications:
US Soccer coaching licenses for all grassroots levels (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11) Experience as a soccer player required and coach preferred Leadership and communication skills Familiarity with fitness and exercise science Cleared background check Outgoing, fun personality Create and maintain a positive and inclusive environment for players and parents Evaluate player skillset regularly Design and lead practices that improve player performance Adapt practice sessions to different player levels Be physically fit and able to keep up with the athletes on the field Strategize player positions Develop on-field game plans Be reliable and available for practice sessions on weekdays and games on weekends Recruit and retain players Foster player and parent interest in the club Help coordinate fundraisers Serve the communityJob Type:
