Job Description

Job Description High Altitude Kids is seeking an exceptional, highly experienced tumbling coach to lead advanced skill development in our program in Eden, Utah. This is not a typical recreational gymnastics role. We are building a high-quality tumbling program where athletes are safely and confidently progressed through advanced skills — within a positive, well-regulated environment. What You'll Do Coach athletes working on: Back handsprings (standing & running) Back tucks Layouts and fulls Safely spot and progress athletes through skill development Design and lead structured, progression-based classes Adapt coaching for both: Older athletes working advanced skills Younger beginners building foundations Requirements (Non-Negotiable) 3+ years coaching gymnastics or cheer tumbling Experience teaching and spotting: Back handsprings Back tucks Layouts/fulls coaching is required Strong understanding of progressions, technique, and injury prevention Confident, attentive spotting skills What Makes This Role Different We are not a high-pressure or high-intensity gym.

Take pride in clean technique and proper progressions Can meet athletes where they are and build confidence Want to coach advanced tumbling in a more positive, thoughtful environment Growth & Earning Opportunity High-performing coaches in this role often build a small private lesson base within our program. We support coaches in offering private sessions, and many develop: 5-10 consistent private clients Typical rates of $30-$35 per 30 minutes Additional earning potential of $60-$70/hour through privates This is an excellent opportunity for a coach who wants to grow both their impact and income within a supportive, well-run program.
Schedule & Pay Part-time Hours:
A variety of classes and hours are available daily between 4-8:30pm Monday -
Thursday Pay:
$20-24/hour , depending on experience About High Altitude Kids High Altitude Kids is a thoughtfully designed early childhood and youth program that blends movement, creativity, and high-quality instruction. We value both technical excellence and child development , creating a unique environment for both students and staff.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
