POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for coaching student-athletes in-game strategies and techniques to prepare them for athletic competition. Motivates student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Instructs players in the rules, regulations, and techniques of cross country.
Organizes and directs practice activities/exercises, assessing player's skills, monitoring players during competition and practice.
Supervises athletes during practices and competition.
