Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
Ambulatory-based patient care, caring for patients with hematologic pathologic conditions Partner with Hospital and School of Medicine partners to build a hematology program Supervising nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, fellows, residents, and medical students as needed Carrying out a research program Participating in and leading outreach activities, including outreach clinics outside the CU-Anschutz campus, educational events for patients and their families, camps for patients, work with patient advocacy groups, and other similar initiativesWork Location:
Onsite- this role is expected to work onsite full time, in various sites on the Anschutz Medical Campus located in Aurora, CO.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below: Rank at the time of appointment will be based on the candidate's demonstrated contributions and experience in teaching, clinical, research, and/or service to the field. MD or DO degree Board Certified in Hematology Eligible for Colorado state medical license Experience in treating patients with classical hematological disorders Able to obtain credentials and privileges at the University of Colorado Hospital and withCU Medicine Preferred Qualifications:

$220,000- $275,000
