Job Description:
Siena University is looking for adjunct faculty for the Spring 2027 semester to teach one or two in-person sections of ATDV260, "
Lifetime Activities:
Move Better with Pilates and Functional Everyday Movement" at our campus in Loudonville, NY. This is a part-time, one-semester, adjunct faculty position. The course will be taught on Friday afternoons and will serve as an introduction to the core principles and foundational movements of Pilates. Students will learn how their bodies move during everyday activities and learn how Pilates can help them move in a healthier, more supported way.
Requirements:
Required Qualifications Comprehensive Pilates certification (400+ hours) covering all Pilates equipment Minimum of 3 years of Pilates teaching experience Experience teaching larger group fitness classes Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Ability to teach in person at Siena's Loudonville, NY campus Preferred Qualifications Additional Pilates certifications or specialized training Experience working in a higher education or campus recreation setting Demonstrated ability to engage participants with varying fitness levels and abilities

Pay Rate:
$1333.34 per contact hour. •The hiring pay rate above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
