Job Description

Oversees the daily operation of the Tool Room and Stockroom, providing support to Facilities Management departments including Maintenance, Mechanical Trades, Grounds, Custodial, Events, Moves, and Garage Operations. Responsible for inventory management, purchasing, tool and key control, equipment maintenance, campus signage production, shipping and receiving support.
Pay:
$26.03 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Three or more years of related inventory, warehouse, facilities, maintenance, or operations experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking systems; experience with Banner preferred. Knowledge of tools, equipment maintenance, inventory management, purchasing, and workplace safety practices. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Manage purchasing, inventory, and stockroom operations, including ordering materials, equipment, and services. Maintain and distribute tools, supplies, keys, personal protective equipment (PPE), and related records. Repair and maintain tools and small equipment. Produce campus signage, including ADA-compliant Braille and vinyl signs, using computerized sign-making equipment. Support shipping, receiving, deliveries, and departmental logistics functions. Promote workplace safety, maintain organized work areas, and assist Facilities teams on special projects and departmental initiatives. Working Conditions Primarily indoor work with occasional outdoor responsibilities. Regular lifting, moving materials and equipment, and operating tools and machinery. Exposure to varying environmental conditions and equipment-related hazards requiring strict adherence to safety procedures.
