Adheres to established policies and guidance when overseeing and providing performance educion coordinion and prepares specific content for primary prevention-based resources, programs, and efforts reled to sleep science, optimizing recovery and adaption, and general health and wellness educion. Collabores and works in alignment with all prevention, WARR, and other programs across the installion. Plans, supervises, implements, and administers a health educion, recovery and reconditioning with a focus on sleep, tobacco-free living, drug and alcohol use, healthy eing, active living, healthy personal relionships, reproductive and sexual health, and mental and emotional well-being. Ensures the implemention of and teaches a standardized health educion curriculum th covers behavior changes in areas such as sleep, health, wellness, performance, nutrition, recovery, and other components of health educion from the standpoint of resource allocion, unanticiped developments, and program efficiency. Develops specialized programs and is responsible for developing and executing a Non-appropried Fund (NAF) budget and provide requirements for an annual Appropried Fund (APF) budget to include the expenditures required to conduct a Performance Educion program. This includes evaluing and providing educion to targeted populions such as Pregnant and Postpartum (P3T) and disease management for Marine and families and other authorized users groups by creing digital media-based content, formal and informal classes, conducting individual or group evaluions, and creing partnerships with Navy Medicine and other stakeholders Maintains supervisory control over assigned volunteers and regular full-time/flexible-time employees. Provides guidance and instruction to subordines and resolves minor grievances. Oversees and conducts performance testing, maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max), body f analysis, resting metabolic re (RMR), and other measures of performance testing using various technological resources. Ensures and maximizes the use of interactive training methods providing performance educion through social media applicions such as Instagram, , X, and other Marine Corps approved outlets. Reviews, approves, develops and designs promotional and campaign merials for the installion and target populions as needed. Establishes and collects performance-based metrics and is responsible for reporting da in support of measures of performance and measures of effectiveness to the installion WARR/Semper Fit Director, Headquarters WARR/Semper Fit the Marine Corps, and the Department of Defense. Assists with program evaluions. Crees and participes in a variety of collaborive groups and coordines with a diverse range of subject mter experts such as strength and conditioning coaches, dietitians, hletic trainers, and all others who provide services in the physical, mental, social and spiritual domains to include healthcare providers to support Marine Corps installions. Oversees and provides secondary support for recovery and reconditioning, nutrition educion, and skill building capabilities delivered to Marines and family members. QualificionsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree (master's degree preferred) in exercise science, physiology, sports, physical educion, human performance with a focus on health behaviors and theory of behavior change is required AND least one year supervisory experience with demonstred ability to manage staff and budget to achieve established goals and objectives AND least three years' experience working with hletes in a performance setting, or military environment. Must possess and maintain certificions reled to health behaviors, clinical exercise, exercise physiology or strength and conditioning from an accredited organizion such as American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Nional Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certificion through the Nional Strength and Conditioning Associion (NSCA) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) certificion through the Collegie Strength and Conditioning Coaches Associion (CSCCa) is preferred. Must have the ability to obtain theHQMC, M&RA, MF, WARR-SF
