Job Description
The Fellow serves as a lead developer of new courses, specializations, certificates, continuing education, and degree concentrations, while also contributing to curriculum modernization across GST programs.
The fellow teaches selected courses and advises on instructional quality and emerging trends in AI education. The Fellow also supports the development of new academic initiatives and curricular innovations that strengthen GST's competitive position and student outcomes. Responsibilities Curriculum and Program Development Design and develop new courses, certificates, specializations, and academic programs. Revise and enhance existing curricula to ensure academic rigor, relevance, and alignment with workforce needs. Develop learning outcomes, course sequences, assessments, and instructional materials. Assist with academic proposals, program approvals, and curriculum review processes. Teaching Teach assigned courses. Develop and maintain high-quality course materials and assessments. Support continuous improvement of student learning and instructional effectiveness. Academic Innovation Identify opportunities for new academic offerings and curricular enhancements. Conduct market and competitive analyses to inform program development. Advise leadership on emerging trends in AI, technology, and higher education. Qualifications Education/Experience Qualifications Earned doctorate in a relevant field. Significant experience in higher education teaching. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum and course development. Knowledge of artificial intelligence and its applications in education and industry. Strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Demonstrated expertise in artificial intelligence, data analytics, machine learning, or related fields. Strong curriculum design and course development skills. Ability to develop learning outcomes, assessments, instructional materials, and academic content. Knowledge of graduate-level instructional practices and online/hybrid education. Ability to evaluate and improve curriculum quality and academic effectiveness. Strong analytical, research, writing, and project-management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, program chairs, and academic administrators. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects. Travel None. Working Conditions Hybrid work arrangement, with regular participation in on-campus meetings and activities as required. Standard office and academic working environment. Regular use of computers and educational technology platforms. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support academic initiatives, course development, teaching responsibilities, or special projects. Limited travel may be required for conferences, professional meetings, or institutional events. Position is a 50% FTE appointment with responsibilities distributed across teaching, curriculum development, and strategic academic initiatives. Physical Demands Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively in person and through electronic means. Ability to attend meetings, presentations, and academic events as required. Maximum Salary USD $75,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $60,000.00/Yr.
