The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theater and experience working with children, fostering their creativity and confidence through engaging lessons. This role involves developing lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and providing constructive feedback to help students grow as performers. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Teach acting techniques, improvisation, and character development to enhance students' performance skills. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. Provide individualized coaching and feedback to help students improve their acting abilities. Organize rehearsals for performances, guiding students through the preparation process. Collaborate with other educators to integrate acting into broader educational programs. Foster a love for the arts while instilling discipline and teamwork among students. Skills Strong background in theater with experience in acting coaching or related fields. Proficient in lesson planning and classroom management techniques. Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience and understanding. Experience in behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Culinary skills are a plus, as they may be integrated into themed performances or workshops. Knowledge of sewing techniques can be beneficial for costume design elements in productions. Excellent communication skills to convey concepts clearly and motivate students.
