A Dance Teacher teaches students in dance movement and choreography. Usually requires previous dance experience. Teaches a variety of dancing styles to individuals or groups of students. Styles may include ballet, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, jazz, lyrical or modern.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, the part-time non-union Kid's Summer Camp Instructor is responsible for teaching the objectives for non-credit courses for children and teenagers to encourage community development and engagement through recreational learning opportunities. The Kid's Summer Camp Instructor's courses are based on the instructor's area of expertise catering to the needs and interests of the community. QUALIFICATIONS 1.
High school diploma or GED required. 2. Subject matter expertise required. 3. Formal training and credentials in subject matter preferred. 4. Teaching experience preferred. 5. Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to hire.
STARTING PAY AND HOURS
$23.10 per hour, up to 9 hours per week.
