Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Acro Instructor to inspire and guide students through the exciting world of acrobatics and creative movement. In this role, you will design engaging curricula, foster a safe and inclusive environment, and nurture students' confidence and physical skills. Whether working with children or adults, your expertise in acrobatics, choreography, and performing arts will help participants unlock their full potential while having fun. Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to various skill levels, focusing on safety, technique, and creativity in acrobatics and movement arts Lead engaging classes that incorporate elements of dance, theater, choreography, and performance arts to enhance students' artistic expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment for diverse age groups, including children, teens, and adults Incorporate curriculum development strategies that promote childhood development, early childhood education, and special education needs when applicable Provide individualized feedback to students to support their growth in areas such as dance instruction, gymnastics, or musical instrument performance Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper use of equipment and space management Collaborate with other instructors on special projects like theater productions, youth programs teaching experience, or community performances Experience Proven experience working with children or in youth programs teaching creative arts or physical education Strong background in acrobatics, ballet, dancing, or gymnastics with demonstrated choreography skills Experience teaching visual & performing arts such as theater or dance instruction at various levels Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies for diverse learners Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Skills in lesson planning for arts education, including tutoring or adult education settings Additional experience in photography, sewing, cooking, culinary arts, childcare or special education is a plus but not required Join us as an Acro Instructor to ignite passion for movement and the arts!
