Job Description
Job description: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming and/or related activities. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment. Your role will also involve engaging with students and parents managing behavior effectively, and fostering a love for water activities. Do you love kids and swimming but are new to teaching? We offer paid training for qualified candidates. Responsibilities Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers. Follow designed lesson plans or develop individualized lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of each student as needed. Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Engage with students in a supportive manner, encouraging their development in swimming and water safety. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive program that promotes physical fitness and enjoyment of swimming. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Requirements Experience in swim instruction preferred. Current CPR Certification or Lifeguard Certification preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents. Ability to work well with children and create a fun learning environment. Strong time management and organizational skills are a must. Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus.
