Job Description

Asteri Sports offers opportunities for growth within the organization, including the ability to expand into a full-time role. Coaches who demonstrate consistency, professionalism, and the ability to develop athletes will have the opportunity to increase their hours, take on additional responsibilities, and grow within our system. This is an ideal environment for individuals looking to stay in the game long-term and build a career in player development.
Duties:
  • Provide instruction and guidance to participants of all ages and skill levels.
  • Create lesson plans and curriculum to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrate proper techniques and skills to participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate participant progress and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with other trainers and staff to coordinate schedules and activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sports coaching and physical education.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in sports coaching
  • College or Professional Playing experience is required.
  • CPR certification is a plus.
  • Baseball/Softball related knowledge
  • Strong communication skills to effectively educate and engage participants.
  • Ability to adapt training methods to meet the needs of different age groups and skill levels.
  • Passion for working with children and providing quality childcare.
  • Excellent organizational skills to plan and manage training programs effectively.
