In this dynamic role, you will design engaging acrobatics, foster a positive learning environment, and nurture students' confidence and skills. Your expertise in acro technique, classroom management, and arts instruction will help cultivate a love for movement while ensuring safety and fun at every class. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through dance and physical expression. Duties Develop and implement innovative acro curriculum tailored to various age groups and skill levels Lead energetic, structured classes focused on acrobatic techniques, dance fundamentals, and creative expression Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for all students Support students' physical development by teaching proper technique, flexibility, strength training, and injury prevention Maintain detailed lesson plans, progress reports, and safety documentation to track student growth and ensure compliance with safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in teaching visual & performing arts, especially acrobatics/gymnastics Strong background in choreography, dance technique, and movement education with a focus on creative arts instruction Experience working with children or youth programs with excellent classroom management skills Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies Ability to teach a variety of skills including tumbling, flexibility exercises, musicality, and performance techniques Passion for inspiring young learners through arts education combined with excellent communication skills
