Plan and lead engaging drama classes for elementary-aged students Teach basic acting skills, including voice, movement, expression, and improvisation Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and creative activities Direct short performances, skits, or end-of-session performance Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork among students Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Manage student behavior effectively using positive guidance techniques Ensure the safety and supervision of students at all times Collaborate with program staff and communicate regularly with site coordinators Prepare and organize materials, props, and costumes as needed Adapt lessons to accommodate different skill levels and learning styles Assist with setup, cleanup, and daily program operations Communicate any student concerns or incidents to program to supervisor Follow all program and school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Experience & Qualifications:

Prior teaching or after-school program experience Experience directing student performances or showcases Background in drama, theater, performing arts, or related field Strong classroom management and student engagement skills Ability to create fun, creative, and age-appropriate lesson plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Energetic, patient, and positive attitude Ability to encourage student confidence and participation Comfortable leading group activities and performances Reliable, punctual, and professional Willing to go through Background Check Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Pay Rate:

After School Program's Drama class: $60-$70/hour Location of work: Palo Alto, San Jose, and vicinity area
