Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Program Instructor/Driver to join our team in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. • Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities and assist with daily activities.
• Safely operate standard passenger cars to transport clients to community activities while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior patterns for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Support clients' integration into community settings by facilitating social interactions and participation in recreational activities.
• Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, families, and service coordinators to ensure seamless care coordination and client safety. Qualifications
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license with experience operating passenger vehicles; clean driving record required.
• Ability to assist clients with developmental disabilities and provide personal transportation assistance safely and compassionately.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire.
