A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Job Description Join the Suwannee Valley 4C's Team! Suwannee Valley 4Cs is the Head Start and Early Head Start grantee in Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette and Suwannee counties. Established in 1985, we are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of low-income children and their families by offering comprehensive early childhood development services.
Teacher Mentor Work Schedule:
M-F, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Hourly Rate :
$16.86

Basic Function:
Provide guidance and support to Education Staff; ensure quality classroom operations.
Qualifications:
Associates degree preferred in Early Childhood or related field. Staff Credential with five years' experience (relevant age), required Child Care Training (Parts
I & II - 40
hours) requirement pursuant to Chapter 65C-22 Must have 5 Hour Literacy Course as required by DCF Safe Sleep/Shaken Baby Syndrome training as required by DCF to complete at Orientation/within 30 days of hire Minimum of three years' experience in providing educational technical assistance preferred General record keeping experience Knowledge of various computer applications including word processing Must have access to dependable transportation with valid current liability insurance and a valid driver's license Must pass physical and Department of Children and Families background screening requirements Must have current First Aid/Pediatric CPR certification Please upload a copy of your DCF Child Care Training Transcript along with your resume.
