Uber, Lyft, or Amazon driving services experience is not acceptable for this position.Desert Road Academy, LLC is seeking a professional, dependable, and engaging Safety Driving Coach to join our team. This position is for someone who enjoys teaching, working with students, and helping young people develop the knowledge and decision-making skills they need to become safe, responsible drivers. A Safety Driving Coach will teach the driver's education curriculum in a structured classroom environment . The instructor will work directly with students to explain driving laws, traffic regulations, defensive driving techniques, roadway safety, risk awareness, responsible decision-making, and the responsibilities that come with operating a motor vehicle. This is a teaching position. The instructor must be comfortable standing or presenting in front of a classroom, explaining information clearly, answering questions, leading discussions, and keeping students engaged throughout the course. The instructor will be expected to create a classroom environment that is safe, respectful, educational, and engaging . Students should feel comfortable asking questions and participating in discussions while still understanding that classroom attendance, participation, assignments, and course requirements are important responsibilities. The instructor will need to explain complex driving concepts in a way teenagers and new drivers can understand. This may include using real-world examples, classroom discussions, videos, activities, scenarios, and other approved.
